Palm Beach Glamour

Do you keep design magazines?  I love to go back and look at mine.  Last night I was flipping through Architectural Digest from March of 1991, and found this amazing Palm Beach apartment and had to share.  Bob Patino designed this beautiful home.  Besides it being gorgeous, it is interestingly current.  Much of what was in the issue needed editing by today's standards, but not this minimally lovely apartment.  What do you think?

Here, an eighteenth century Venetian gilt mirror is juxtaposed with a Mies van der Rohe Barcelona stool.







This is my favorite.  Patino designed the oversized gilt mirror himself.  The vanity mirror is Karl Springer and the lamps are Baccarat.
