This room in Claire and Dwight Emanuelson's house made the cover of the January/February 2011 issue. Guests sleep tight in quarters featuring Matouk linens and drapes in fabric by Manuel Canovas.  Photography by Stephen Karlisch

Regan and Zac Carlile's breakfast nook is home to a Knoll Saarinen table and Kartell Ghost Chairs. The painting by Stern is of special importance to Regan. She lived in Cannes, France, for six years as a girl. She took husband Zach to see where she grew up, and they found the painting in an antique market.Photography by Stephen Karlisch

Lisa Martensen and Don Skipper's 1940s Federal-style home from November of 2009. The couple entertains in style on a stone dining table by Michael Taylor. A large terra cotta urn, purchased at Cathy's Antiques, and 18th-century engravings add ambience to the room. Photography by Stephen Karlisch

Don Skipper and Lisa Martensen's family room overlooks the pool and is a haven on hectic days. The sofa and chairs from B&B Italia are perfect for kicking back. End tables are from Zographos in New York, and the neoclassical coffee table was purchased at auction. Photography by Stephen Karlisch

Featured in the May/June 2009 issue, Bonnee Sharp's master bedroom is both cool and tranquil, with "Silver Sage" walls; vintage lamps paired with new shades; an inherited bed; framed photographs by Sharp; and pillow and curtains in fabrics from Studio Bon Textiles.Photography by Terri Glanger
