Dallas Fort Worth Share Day

My post today is for the DFW peeps.  I want to share someone with you. This is a photo from my recently completed One Room Challenge breakfast room.  The chandelier was very dark and lacked contrast.  I found a painter, Matthew, through a friend who knew he would do a great job.  Matthew does faux painting, but had never done a finish like this.  I gave him several photos of what I wanted and was thrilled with his execution.  He completely transformed my chandelier.  When I purchased it at a local consignment store, I imagined it looking exactly as it does now.  I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough.  I will definitely be calling him again soon.  His number is 817-266-1587.  If you call him, please tell him you found him through me.

I'm going to share resources frequently here.  I'd love information from you, too.  Does anyone know of a person who does good gold leafing? What about a good wallpaper installer?  Please leave a comment or email me if you have any recommendations.  I'd be so very appreciative for some information.
