Art Deco Chinese Rugs
I'm a big fan of lots of Tyler Dawson's work, and the above is my favorite room in her portfolio. Everything in the room is fantastic, but the two elements that really draw me in are the rug and the abstract. That rug is an Art Deco Chinese rug, and it's fabulous. These rugs have such incredible color and pattern. I think it would be so much fun to design a room around one. Are you familiar with Art Deco rugs? OKL had a sale last September that I missed. I would have loved seeing these rugs and the others they offered.
Below, I have some examples. My favorite (no surprise) is this first one.
What do you think? Do you have a favorite here? Do you like these, or are they too much for you? They are definitely not for everyone. The room I imagine creating with the first one is amazing. I'd absolutely love it.
