For the Dallas Readers

This post today is all about Dallas.  First of all, I hope you're staying dry!  Of course I'm not finished with my Christmas "to do" list.  I only found out that Christmas isn't on Thursday here.  How could this have happened?  And, to get around Dallas this time of year is bad enough.  To add all of this rain only slows things down further.  I very much hope you're further along with your preparations than I.

I'm not sure if you were aware, but I've had a very neglected booth down at Lost Antiques (1201 N. Riverfront) for a couple of years.  What with this store and this store and this blog, it was too much.  I had great intentions and so many fun ideas, but there just wasn't enough time in the day.  I'm sure you've been there : )

So, at the end of December, TPP will be out of the booth business. It's time to simplify.  Everything in my booth is priced to sell as the option is bringing it home.  YIKES.

This is a phone photo of a custom lampshade I've just brought home. Rutherford's is my "go to" source for trims and tape as their selection is amazing and they're less than five minutes away.  I found this trim on my new lampshade there, and it was exactly what I was looking for.  Everything in the store is 25% off now through January.  So good to know, and I'll be going back very soon to take advantage.

Lastly, La Duni is one of my favorite Dallas Restaurants.  I frequent the one on Oak Lawn most often, but if I'm at NorthPark at mealtime, it's always first choice.  Did you know about this option?  I became aware of this yesterday, and wanted to share. VERY, VERY good to know : )

I hope you're enjoying your Saturday!
