This all American Colonial Revival home gorgeously sports our flag and was the perfect image to share for Memorial Day today on Instagram. Blue is a favorite year round, but I'm especially drawn to it during the summer.  It gets quite hot here in Dallas, and blue is always so refreshing.

I have a new (to me) house, and from the family room, breakfast room, and kitchen, the view from my new windows has improved drastically.

The space is complete, and let me just say, WHEW. You may remember last ORC I had some problems with contractors and was convinced there was no way my project could come together on time. Little did I know, things actually could get even crazier than that. But, we're looking forward instead of back, and I’m ready to throw a party because I could NOT be happier with this space.
