Sporting Stripes

There's something about the approach of warmer weather that makes me think of stripes. Obviously, they're not seasonal, but every year about this time, I find myself even more drawn to them than usual. Yesterday, I

posted about stripes indoors

.   I thought I'd share some apparel and accessories today.  Who knows, you may see more stripes Monday : )

Happy Weekend!

Blue and White Monday: Alex Papachristidis

One of my all-time favorite designers, Alex Papachristidis, is a fellow lover of blue and white.  The exquisite spaces he designs are very thoughtfully created and show an impressive level of layering and detail.  Everything I'm sharing today is from

his site

.  As I'm only including spaces with blue and white, you can imagine how many other spectacular photos there are to enjoy.

Such exciting news! These beautiful paintings, and more, by

Christina Baker

, are en route to

Gregg Irby Gallery

in Atlanta, and will be available by 2 pm tomorrow.  Did you see

my last One Room Challenge?

Christina's panels in my entrance hall are to absolutely die for.  If you're interested in Christina's paintings, but don't live close to Atlanta, Gregg Irby Gallery ships nationwide : )

I'll have photos here tomorrow morning of six of Christina's new paintings.  Come back to see -- it will be quite a treat!

Blue and White Monday: Tile

 The Watermark Collection from Cle´

When I ran across these tiles recently, I fell hard.  The colors are beyond gorgeous, and the watercolor effect is dreamy.  Watercolor anything is just so hot right now.

Blue and White Monday: Navy Walls

La Dolce Vita

I've been thinking lately about how drawn I am to photos featuring dark walls. I prefer to live with very light and white walls in my house. It's interesting that we can be so intrigued by images that are so different than what we want to live with. I'll be sharing more about this here, Wednesday. Meanwhile, enjoy this gorgeousness.
