The weather here in Dallas has been amazing as of late. Today began looking less promising with lots of clouds and drizzle, but it's cleared up, and I hear birds chirping.
The mantel is always the focal point of any room with a fireplace. I've always loved changing mine up a bit from time to time, so I was thrilled to participate in Project Design: How to Style Your Mantle For Spring Two Ways.

Who doesn't love a good stripe? Stripes work everywhere, and depending on the width and color, can add anything from drama to playfulness to a room. If your space needs grounding, they're the perfect solution.
