Farrow and Ball
Farrow and Ball's All White in Modern Emulsion is the only paint I used in the dining/entry/living space. I'd used it before and found it to be the perfect white for me. It doesn't go cool or warm, and it's not harsh in any way. The quality is something you need to see in person. I used the least expensive paint possible in my first apartment, and varying levels of quality since. With paint, you absolutely get what you pay for, and I believe using the best quality you can afford is money very well spent.
The finish I used, Modern Emulsion, works on walls and woodwork which allowed me to use one finish with one color throughout. I love the look of one finish as opposed to using a finish with more sheen for woodwork. To me, it's softer and less busy.
Farrow and Ball offers any variation of white you'd need. Obviously, my favorite is All White. If you're considering using white paint, don't make decisions based on photos you see in a magazine or online. Paint colors always reflect other colors in close proximity, and this is, of course, more pronounced with white. For example, I have big windows and lots of green from outside is being reflected. The green in the buffalo check fabric is also affecting the color of paint in my room. I recommend buying samples so that you can make a choice you'll be sure to enjoy for a long time.
